 My LIL Man!! Hi, and thanks for stopping by! We are an IN HOME rescue, while we are also considered a santcuary, because alot of our rescues remain here to live out their lives healthy and happily. The previous owner makes the decision to either have their parrot adopted out to a good home or to remain here, and their request is honored! We accept all species of birds, small to big, and for any reason! Biters, Pluckers, Handicaps, and just those that are looking for that special home! We travel all over the state of Indiana, and surrounding states; IL. MI. WI. KY. TN. OH. to pick up birds and bring them home with us! There have been instances where we have rescued a parrot and recieved it via shipping through Continental airlines, but we prefer to not have to do this. Unless the parrot is in a state that we do not travel to then we ask it not be shipped. There is always someone here with the birds, they get out of cage time, flight time, play time, but most importantly QUALITY time, and they always have human interaction!!
Having a rescue and helping bring birds to safety, has been a longtime dream that my husband has helped me fullfill by having a compassion for them the same as I do, and for being very supportive!
We live on a farm, so birds are not our only pets! We are HUGE animal lovers, so included in our flock are Chickens, Ducks, Roosters, A Kitty, 2 Pit Bulls, a Llama, a pony, and a pott belly pig. We will be adding cattle, pigs, and another big dream of mine HORSES!!! 
We work with all breeds, We specialize in parrots with plucking issues and self mutilation issues as well. We work extensively with Macaws, Amazons, Cockatoos, and African Grey parrots & others alike! But, we accept birds of all species:)  Beautiful Baby
We are non-profit and dedicated to improving the lives of parrots. All money put into our sanctuary is out of our own pocket, except that of donations of the wonderful people that help or fundraise!  Tiffany came to us as
a perm. resident, rescued out of a terrible situation. But she has shocked us with her courage, and learning to trust and love again, we are hoping to place Tiffany up for a new home very soon:) Please enjoy our site, and if you or someone you know has a bird (s) that needs a good home, please contact us, because we'll give them a forever loving one!!

-We do not sell, trade or use birds in our care for commerce or profit. -We promote education on all issues of avian welfare.  Placing your Bird, and knowing what to expect when doing so.  We understand that there may come a time where a life change, emergency situation, or other problem, would cause you to have to give up your parrot. Making the decision to place your bird, may be the hardest decision you will ever have to make. Rest assured that we are here to help you, and make the process as easy and painless as possible.
Your bird will receive the very best care, medical attention, diet, and love here at Crystal Creek. He/She will live surrounded by humans and others of his kind, in a more natural environment with so much to do and explore!
When surrendering your bird, it will help us and your bird emmensly to know everything we can about them. Also bringing the bird's own things (such as their cage, toys, etc.) will help the bird adjust to his new surroundings. However, we WILL accept your bird w/out a cage, it just makes the transition for them easier if they come with their home:) Just know your parrot will be in the very best forever loving home! We keep previous owners updated of their parrots, and how they are doing, we send them pics via email if they want us to, not all do, because sometimes that is difficult for them. We always welcome previous owners to stop and visit the sanctuary anytime they choose to see for themselves that their bird is being cared for well, and loved. No need to make an appointment, our doors are always open to you.
